Snow Event – March 10th, 2023

I’m measuring a consistent 1.5 inches that is remaining on sidewalks and driveways around the neighborhood.  Some melting has taken place throughout this event. Unless we get more until the end of this and it stops melting,  it looks like only sidewalks are needed. Looks like 35 for a high this afternoon and 36 tomorrow with some bit of sun also tomorrow.

I am in communication with Dan. If we don’t get much more today I will advise only sidewalks are done

Snow Budget Update

Here are the metrics of this years snow contract

The current contract limits us to 5 driveway clean ups and 10 sidewalks clean ups for the 2022/2023 snow season.

Additional clean ups billed at $3,325.00 per driveway service and $880.00 per sidewalk service.

I confirmed with our snow contractor that after that last snow, we currently have used 5 driveway plows and 6 sidewalk clearings to date for this contract.

Snow Event – March 3rd, 2023

It looks like a significant snow event coming our way. If we get enough, our snow contractor and crew may be going through the neighborhood twice. This hasn’t been decided yet. I will try to keep you posted here as I receive more info.

Update 7:20pm: It does appear we are getting enough,  especially because it’s so heavy, to warrant going around the neighborhood twice. Sidewalks are being done now, they will start driveways in about an hour

Snow Event – December 25th

Well that was unexpected. Looks like we received 3.5 inches or so overnight. I have reached out to our snow contractor to see when we might be able to get driveways and sidewalks done. Stay tuned for an update.

Update: Looks like he’ll be able to get a crew out tonight.
