Town hall meeting on March 22, 2022

We are hosting a Zoom town hall meeting on March 22, 2022 to discuss the proposed Bylaws and Master Deed amendments that our condo law attorneys mailed to each home in the subdivision. If you did not receive that mailing, or if you’d like to review an electronic copy, please see the “Important Documents” tab on the website, where you can download the voting package and also a redlined version of the proposed amendments.

The meeting will take place via Zoom on March 22 at 7:00 pm. If you’d like to attend, please see our Facebook group or email us at [email protected].

Annual meeting: October 12, 2021 at 7:00 pm

On September 20th we mailed to all homeowners the notice of our annual meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, Oct 12 at 7:00 pm, via Zoom (check-in will begin at 6:30 pm). The mailing will have in it the notice, the meeting agenda, and a pre-stamped proxy card. As many of you know, to meet the quorum requirement for the meeting, we need at least 30% of all units represented either at the meeting or by proxy (or both, combined). With 252 units in the sub, that means we need at least 76 people and/or proxies at the time of the meeting in order to hold the meeting. Whether or not you plan to attend, please sign and return the proxy card right away. If you don’t receive the letter, please let us know here or by email ([email protected]). On the agenda will be discussions about amendments to the Bylaws, as well as the 2021 budget. We will also have an open discussion so that folks can bring up whatever other issues they’d like to raise. Thank you!

Landscaping work at the main entrance

Over the weekend of May 15-16 you might have noticed a bunch of people working hard at the Ann Arbor/Woodland entrance to the sub. The volunteer crew included Susan Miklovich, Kirsten Eye, Patty Palombit, Mary Rentschler and Scott Rentschler. They did a lot of work, including moving some plantings, removing others, putting in new plantings (they looked at drought- and deer-resistant plants), and other things. They are also going to add mulch to the area over the new few weeks, but are timing that to help minimize the risk of losing new plantings. If you see them out and about, please thank them for their great ideas and hard work.

We are also going to look at what we can do about the deteriorating condition of the wooden sign at that entrance. We might be able to get away with some light touch-ups (paint) to it and put off replacing it until 2022, but we will begin looking around at options.
